This video describes how to fix the problem of forms being mailed as an attachment instead of the content being a part of the email body. We will also look briefly at some additional changes you can make with the mailer function in the new Plinkit 2.0.

Quick Instructions on how to fix the form error

This fix needs to be applied to each of the forms that you use on your Plinkit 2.0 site.

After the migration from Plinkit 1 to Plinkit 2.0, the "contact us" forms worked, but they emailed themselves as an .txt attachment instead of as an HTML file. These steps will allow you to receive the email and all the content of the form will be in the body of the email, and not an attachment.

1. Log into your Plinkit site
2. Select “Contact” at the top of the page
3. Select one of the forms you use on the “Contact Us” Page.
4. Select “Contents” tab above form
5. Select “Mailer” from the list
6. Select “Edit” on the edit bar
7. Select “Template” tab
8. Scroll down to “Mail-Body Type” and select “HTML”
9. Click “Save”
10. Repeat steps 2-9 for each form on your website that you use.
