Site ERROR - "HasSubTopics" - How to get rid of this error.

If you see this error on your website, this how-to will walk you through the steps to get it off for good.

IMPORTANT - YOU MUST BE LOGGED IN AS A 'MANAGER' LEVEL ACCOUNT TO MAKE THESE CHANGES.  This procedure will take you into the Zope Management Interface (ZMI) so please follow these steps carefully.

  1. Log into your site as a manager.
  2. Click "Site Setup" in the upper right corner of your site.
  3. Click "Zope Management Interface".
  4. Scroll down and click "portal_skins"
  5. Click "plinkit_custom"
  6. Find the entry for "atct_topic_view".  In most cases this is the very first entry in this folder.
  7. Place a check in the checkbox to the left of "atct_topix_view".
  8. With the checkbox checked, scroll to the bottom and click the "Delete" button.  (It's okay to delete this file, it won't harm your site).
  9. You are done!  Close your browser window and go back to your website.  You may have to refresh the page a few times to get the error to go away.

If you have any trouble or questions about this How-To, please contact your library system's administrator for Plinkit.
